Sin...

i was recently berated for my homosexuality article...not that it bothers me too much but in this berating i was asked about other sin...yes all sin is bad...people who lie, people who cheat, people who steal, people who kill are all bad...i am bad...i am a sinner...i am not perfect...i will never be perfect...people who are homosexuals are sinners but they are not bigger sinners than i am...

James 2:10
And the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as the person who has broken all of God's laws.

Matthew 5:18-19
I assure you, until heaven and earth disappear, even the smallest detail of God's law will remain until its purpose is achieved. So if you break the smallest commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God's laws and teaches them will be great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

saying that i disagree with homosexuality, cheating, stealing, or any other sin is not bad...i disagree with the sin in my life of which there is a lot... so understanding and disagreeing with sin is not being a religious zealot or closed minded...being unable to see another person's side of an argument is being closed minded...

now in my article i stated "all forms of immorality will stem from same sex marriage"...i should not have used the word "all"...instead i should have stated that "other forms of sexual immorality will stem from same sex marriage"...if you are free in america to marry someone of the same sex then you should also be free to do many other things that are currently illegal... some of which i mentioned in my article...

i do not see this as hate or ignorance...i see it as believing in something and what i believe is different than what you believe...i would be glad to hear any reasoning to the contrary...
